Good Times pass you by in a blitz . . . You close your eyes and visualize a brighter day, a brighter you and a brighter world around you... Not that the world suddenly has turned dull or gloomy, it's just that things from the past tend to tug to you more intensely once they actually pass you by...
It all seems like yesterday when you last cursed your buddy for a goal he scored against you in a "Professional mode". FIFA '08 just draws me back to those days... You crack an absolute stunner of a shot right past the opponents' goal and look around in amazement...and you see no one else around you.
It takes you back to your past when you watch "ROCK ON" in a crowded theater and you feel like shouting with excitement at a scene... and you turn around and find yourself alone . . . Imagine watching the same movie with the "gang" and literally rocking with each frame. Inexplicable, isn't it?
It makes you feel stupid when you sleep and sleep and expect someone to wake you up and tell you to join them on a tea treat... Stupid, coz you wake up on your own with no one waiting.
But i guess that's what life takes away from you when it gives you a present that you once prayed for. Nothing's perfect in the present but then perfect would make life boring...
All's well and all will be well ... But that's when the words reach you ...
